Some skills are from the beginning of the game available for upgrade/leveling. Others - on the other hand - are not available from the beginning and have to be learned before you can upgrade/level them. Trainers, who can for a fee learn you the skills, are scattered around Antaloor. It's highly recommend that you update your game version to the latest patch, so you don't encounter any problems with the game as a whole but also with the list below. If you can't the trainers at night then you might try to come back when the sun has arisen. Hint: The names of the trainers are - like most of the NPCs - randomly generated. Use instead the location of the trainers to find them.
Do not despair if you've chosen to spend some of your skill points and later on regrets it. It can be reversed by "Soul masters" and currently the below two are known.
