Just to forward the developers' reply in the "Developer Diary" to the release of Two Worlds.

Today it is „Two Worlds“ day in Europe! The PC version can be bought and we are really happy to get the result of our work for years in our hands at least. We also want to say thank you to all the fans supporting us especially in the last month. [Mirek]

The first review of Two Worlds was online yesterday at a German website. To summarize, they award it 78% and says it is better than Gothic 3 but not as good as Oblivion.

Problems with Radeon and patch
Written by Asbjoern
Thursday, 10 May 2007

The developers are already busy working on anew patch, which should fix problems with running Two Worlds on older Radeon graphics cards. Dirk P. Hassinger wrote a post about it on the official German forums and the below is a translation of it.

Actually Radeon 9600, 9700 and 9800 are below the minimum requirements. That's why we have not tested Two Worlds for these cards.
But we're looking for a solution right now. It seems there are still some of these cards in usage out there. 9x00 series has SmartShader 2.1 (that's an ATI term) - that means Shader 2.0 - but you need 2.0B - we're developing a special version, that replaces all 2.0B Shader instructions with 2.0. Probably HDR won't work, because it's only emulated on 2.0B cards.

We're going to announce the download here when it's done.

But please don't expect high performance / framerate (especially on 9700 and 9600)

First off. I'm sorrying for the lack of coverage yesterday. My internet connection chose to take the day off exactly on the day of Two Worlds' release. So you might guess we have a lot of information to bring today, so look out.

Second. On behalf of our staff I would like to wish you all some happy times with Two Worlds (when it is released in your respective countries).
